Here's a way to make batches of celebratory cards...FAST!  

I created the cards below with the new stamp set from A Colorful Life Designs and used the repeat-stamping technique!  Stamp the sentiment, move the cardstock up (or down), and stamp again, changing ink colors as you go.  Add a sentiment and you're ready to go!

Star Stretched Backgounds

Today I am sharing a favorite technique that allows you to make TWO card panels at once.

I created the cards below using the A Colorful Life Designs, Star Stretch stencil and Distress Mica Sprays!

I placed the Star Stretch stencil on a panel of Bristol smooth Cardstock and sprayed Distress Mica Stains over the stencil. I removed the stencil and placed it upside down (sprayed side down) on another panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock to get the negative impression of the stencil. Doing this will use all that extra spray you used that was left on the stencil from the first panel.

I got inspiration for this card from Amy's Wares. She used an embossing folder to create texture on her word die cut using an embossing folder, such a cool idea! This card will be going to my brother for his birthday :)
