Kitty Window Birthday Card

My partner Bren's birthday is this month and I thought I would create a fun card using Gina K. Designs, Window Additions stamp set!  I love this set because it has two adorable cats that remind me of our cats, Blanche & Rose.  They are always sitting somewhere on Bren's recliner, looking out the window watching all the birds in the yard.  

Once I knew where I wanted the cats to "sit" I stamped them and then placed Masking Magic over them to mask them prior to stamping the image of the recliner over them.  Once I did that, I removed the Masking Magic form the cat's images and colored the entire image with alcohol markers, then cut out with my Brother ScanNCut.   I then created the window using Gina K. Designs Mater Layouts #5 Die Set.  

The sky outside the window was created by placing an ink pad directly onto an acrylic block, spray the block lightly with water, and then place the bloc into cardstock (I used Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock) to create watercolor look.
